How to Get Here
Whether you are traveling to Frankfort from within Michigan or from another state you will always be welcome! We have hosted guests from many states including Arizona, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Washington, and Wisconsin. No matter how you choose to get here, we look forward to hosting you!
By Air: Cherry Capitol Airport (TVC) in Traverse City is approximately 45 minutes away. Grand Rapids, and Manistee (limited commuter flights), Frankfort Airport (private aircraft) also provide airport services.
By Auto: Frankfort is easily accessible from major roads such as US31, and US131. M115 and M22 lead you directly to the heart of Frankfort.
By Boat: Car Ferry services are provided by Lake Express (Milwaukee, WI to Muskegon, MI, and the S.S. Badger (Manitowoc, WI to Ludington, MI). Marinas (Jacobson’s, Frankfort Municipal) are accessible in Betsie Bay for private boats.
Leelanau Landing:
Access Google Maps for turn by turn directions. The house sits between Leelanau Avenue and Harbor. Enter 314 Leelanau Avenue, Frankfort, Michigan 49635 as your destination to arrive at the front door OR use 314 Harbor, Frankfort Michigan 49635 to arrive at the garage and rear entry of the house Leelanau Avenue is a one-way street heading from West to East. Harbor runs parallel to Leelanau Avenue and provides access to the rear of the home. From M22, proceed to Forest Avenue, turn right on 4th Street. Turn left on the next street (Harbor). The garage is located on Harbor. Proceed to the garage (gray/white) on your right, identified with the 314 address and an M22 Rental sign on the garage. Designated parking is located immediately west of the garage. For ease in loading /unloading you may prefer to park on Leelanau Avenue in front of the house if space permits. The front of the house is also easily identifiable by our M22 Rental sign located in the front yard. The house may be accessed directly from the front or rear entry doors. Welcome. Access Google Maps for turn by turn directions. Enter 404 Michigan Avenue, Frankfort, Michigan 49635 as your destination. Michigan Avenue is a two-way street that runs (North/South). From M22, proceed to Forest Avenue. Follow Forest Avenue (West) towards Lake Michigan. Forest Avenue ends at the Stop sign (Michigan Avenue). Turn Right. Follow Michigan Avenue (North), approximately 4 blocks; note the slight bend in the road at Leelanau Avenue, keep left. Proceed to the 404 address (White house, with Stone porch) on your right. The front of the house is also easily identifiable by our M22 Rental sign located in the front yard. Designated parking is located in the driveway immediately north of house.
